这个暑假,我非常开心.虽然我没有出去旅游。但是我和朋友们到养老院去帮助老人们。到了养老院,我们自我介绍了后,就开始为老人们做事了。首先,我们先分了组。有的去扫地,有的去帮老人们捶背,有的陪老人们解闷,而我和其他的朋友帮老人晒洗被子。我们开始了,我们用洗衣粉洒在老人们的被子上,用刷子搓了又搓,很累。我体会到了妈妈的辛苦。接着,我们就晒被子了。我们在养老院待了一个下午,和老人道别后,我决定以后多帮父母做家务。

欢快的假期
七点半，我们便坐上大巴，驱车驶向苍山。睡眼惺松的我迷迷糊糊地打了个哈欠。窗外一片片茂密的树林令人赏心悦目，鸟儿在枝头啼叫，一股只属于清晨的清新空气透过车窗，让人活力十足。新的一天开始了！
来到苍山脚下，我们抬头仰望苍山，它高耸入云，姿态挺拔。一开始，我还慢慢向前进军，过一会儿，就有点按纳不住了，我撸起袖子，弯下腰，鼓足劲，向前冲去。我看到前方有块巨石，我脚踩上去，微微弯曲，用力向上，张开双臂，看我“大鹏展翅”。落地后我接着冲，我冲到一处竟有障碍，我纵身一跃，立即腾空而起。瞧，我身轻如燕，腾云驾雾，一跃竟跳出1。5米。我自己都惊讶。可跑到山腰，我就累趴了，倒地不起。过了一会，被我甩了很远的老爸他们都追上了我，老爸见我累趴了，跟我说：“这不是刚才一直跑在第一的人嘛！怎么不继续向前冲了呢？”“不行，我跑不动了，不想爬了，我要下山了。”说着我便往山下走去。“你这点苦都吃不了啊！爬这么点就累了，作为一个男子汉应该有担当，有责任心，不做半途而废的人，如果你今后的学习中也像这样，那你还怎么学习，不能像这样半途而废。”我听完这一席话便像打了鸡血，重新振作精神，终于登上了山峰。在山峰我看到了更美的景色：五彩缤纷的花儿绽开了笑脸，大树在向我问好，抬头远眺，仿佛蓝天就在不远处……
从这次爬山历险中，我明白了：当你受到挫折时，你是选择继续前进，还是半途而废，全都取决于你自己！也许你再坚持一下，你就会看到更美的风景，就会发现：成功其实就在眼前。
